CAE design is followed by reality testing: We use highly precise CNC technology to produce exact prototypes of the virtual CAD model primarily for functional verification of the product concept – or for hands-on presentation and visualization. Depending on the purpose of the prototype, various materials – fibre composites, metal or plastic – are used to keep your costs to a minimum. We also recommend running FEM computer simulations prior to the first test model because this minimizes cost-intensive feedback loops for prototype construction.
Absolute precision
The finished design data are fed directly into the programming of our 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines – even the most complex geometries are applied quickly and with optimum precision. The completely computer-integrated design and construction process at CrossLink completes the process chain and ensures extremely short throughput times.
